7 Days of Christmas Cheer

Christmas Eve...Matt & I exchange our gifts before heading to annual party at his Aunt Bonnie's. Always lots of great fun, conversation and of course, food!
Our *bright* little tree.

Christmas - We had spent the night at Laurie's and wake up groggy eyed (cuz the dogs kept us up all night) scratch lotto tickets, open gifts & eat all morning.

Someday, we'll hit the big one!.......Sailor posing.......
Can you tell Chris is in the Coast Guard?
Then we ran home to let neighbor's dog out before heading to Rory's to play, crimp my hair, exchange gifts, enjoy mimosa's, decide to stay & eat turkey dinner at 3 and squeeze in some fruit trifle (the one the dogs didn't taste-test on the porch)
love the giant Xmas tree........... Aurora & lil' Zoe.......
Dev & Matt, skater dudes

Finally, we head to Armond's new house, where we get the tour (nice big place, beautiful location, didn't get photos) eat a bit of ham dinner at 6, open gifts & relax before heading home for a long winter's nap!
Me & Grandma Nora.....
Everyone diggin' in.....
Ma with her pretty smile!

Wednesday, we visited his Aunt Jackie & Uncle Mike, then we hung out at cousin Mike's for a good long while, which was nice cuz we hadn't seen them in a long time. They bought their girls Guitar Rock Hero - so now I want a Play Station! I rocked the guitar, but I couldn't stay on the mat for Dance, Dance Revolution! Ha!
Thursday, we headed back to Laurie's to have dinner with Chris before he headed to Alaska the next morning. He'll be on a Coast Guard ship for 3 years.
Hope we'll make a visit at some point, to Alaska, not the ship.
Friday we stayed home and rented movies. Saturday night we visited John & Joanne. The guys watched duck vids downstairs while I played Scrabble with Joanne & John's mom. I love games!

Sunday morning I went to Bonnie's for her Birthday breakfast. Wish Matt would've come, but we had thought maybe it was a "girls' thing" and yet everyone was there. I've got to remember to ask Laurie for that same special cake for my birthday :)
Monday (aka yesterday) was New Year's Eve. Matt cooked King Crab Legs...mmmmmm, butter.....and then we hung out at Jason & Renee's with Travis & Laurie. It was fun to see the guys finally get to know each other...they're three pees in a pod. We stayed till almost 11 and poor Matt had to get up at 4 a.m. to drive to Taxidermy school in PA. My head hit the pillow and I thought, 'I'll get up in a little bit and call Mom & Dad' (we always try to call each other at New Year's) but when I opened my eyes again it was 2 hours into 2008!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
