I haven't taken many photos this summer, but here's some:
Above is Matt and Sailor in Mom & Dad's "front yard" taking a little break from tiling the floors.
Matt's been working 7 days a week and we haven't taken but a couple little boat rides. We launched from their yard a few times when we were dog-sitting (while Mom & Dad were in Nova Scotia visiting Armond.) The bay is so beautiful in the evening. Around the corner near the marsh, we sat and watched all the ducks come in for the night.
The good thing about not having cats around the house, we've got bunnies! The bad thing - we've got chipmunks!
I think Sailor's praying, "Please, let's hit the lake!" It's been hot & humid the past week. I don't care how the saying goes, it IS the humidity! I don't know how Matt works in this weather, of course I say the same thing in the winter. Yesterday, I had Grandma with me in my truck with no air conditioning...yuck! I always say I don't need AC, but on days like these...AC me ASAP!
Dad took this picture of Matt, aka Dr. Doolittle, with a baby kestrel perched on his fingers.
