Grady is a chatterbox. And a curious one at that. From the moment he wakes up to the time he goes to bed, he stretches his arm out and points his finger at every object around saying, “This? This? What’s this? Dat?” and then he spots a light fixture and exclaims, “Light! Light!” And again…
He knows “No” and “Don’t Touch,” but he likes to test. Last night he started repeating, “touch?” He’d reach toward the tub dial and say, “touch?” and I’d say, “No.” So he’d grab the side of the tub and say, “touch” and I’d say “Yes.” Wow! We had a conversation!
He says things on occasion and then he won’t repeat it again, but he is definitely working on his language. He loves his “du-oose” (juice), and the other day he uttered, “joose” when we were pointing at the “goose” on the wall.
He’s still good with “DaDa” and “doggie.” Still, the only time I’ve ever heard him say, “Mama” is if he’s crying to get out of his crib in the morning. And, even then, it’s like he musters it up, gives in and says very deliberately, “Maaaa-Ma!”
He’s growing so fast. Every day he gets braver and takes more steps on his own, and he’s very proud of himself when he makes it. And, of course, Mama’s proud.
I’ve barely taken any pictures this past month, but I promise to post some new pics soon.

Ashelyn has been talking SO much too. Isn't it so fun. Freaks me out a little bit though that they're like BIG all the sudden.
