Grady loves books. He holds on, studies pictures, flips pages (intentionally, I'm sure) and yeah, likes to gnaw a little on the words. Currently on his night stand: Touch & Feel Animals box set.
Currently on my night stand: "It Was on Fire When I Lay Down On It" by Robert Fulghum, Author of "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten." A quick-reading, laugh-out-loud and bittersweet collection of one man's reminiscings and deep thoughts. The vignette I read before bed last night started with posing the 'basic strangers-on-a-plane' question, "Well, so what is it that you do?" He finished the musing with, "I and you - we are infinite, rich, large, contradictory, living, breathing miracles - free human beings, children of God and the everlasting universe. That's what we do."

That's so cute! I'm pretty ready for something good to read. I've been talking about for about a month know. Guess I better get on that huh. :)
