Ah, Fall...

...where did you go?

I wanted to carve a pumpkin, but I lost the mood when I woke up Wednesday morning to THIS!

Actually, it dusted the ground a few days prior, but this was a good little storm. It melted away today, but Old Man Winter has shown his face, so you know he'll be back! OK, as much as I'd rather not start this long, cold season, I do always feel like a kid again with the first snow. I pause and stare out the window with a total sense of joy, even if my lips are saying, "Are you kidding me?"

I'm so not ready. I don't know where our scrapers are and there are still flip-flops by my front door.

Procrastinating? Wishful thinking? Denial?

The bright side? Christmas is coming!!
