Even though I have Corel PhotoHouse, The Gimp, Paint.Net and a few other programs with great filters and photo-editing abilities, I just had to have me some Photoshop. The on-line tutorials are easier to follow when you're referencing the same toolbars, etc.
All this time, I've thought the only version of Photoshop I was looking for was at least $600, but alas, I found Photoshop Elements! Hello! I had no clue that it was available. It seems as though Photoshop is used by so many people, and I thought, "Man, folks don't mind dishing out the cash!" For those of you who have, I get it...I was close to splurging for it, too. Thankfully, I realized there was Photoshop Elements. I found PE 7 bundled with Photoshop Premier 7 (for videos) for $149 at Staples, and I had a $30 coupon, and a $30 rebate. I was OK with letting go of $87.
I ordered it Monday and it arrived yesterday. Above is the first image I played with. I found the film strip image at stock.xchng (free stock photography)
This is fun!
