On the Night Stand

Grady loves books, and he has his favorites right now. Before bed, he'll say, "More book, more book" and keep grabbing books to read in an effort to prolong bedtime. He loves what he calls "Piggy Party" which came with a matching Piggy. He grabs Piggy and hugs her tight and when we get to the "pillow fight" page he tosses her around and belly laughs! Love it!
Then there's "Spot Loves His Daddy," which Blaze tore the back page off when she was a puppy. Here's Grady spotting the "ga cree" (ice cream) another favorite of his right now!
Of course, Anna is enjoying the reading, too. Grady gets a kick out of it if she touches a book. He'll yell, "Nana!" and laugh.

We have fun with "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed." He loves how I talk in a low voice when the doctor says, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"

The "Splish Splash" book usually stays in the bathroom to read on the potty, that and "No More Diapers for Ducky." Grady has asked for and used the potty a few times in the past couple of weeks and now tells me when he is dirty. So glad to see the interest! "No More Diapers for Grady" would be a good book!!
