Last weekend, Matt & I met friends in Lake Placid and Grady spent his first overnight stay alone at Grammie Laurie's (thank you!) He even got to see his great aunts and get lots of hugs and kisses!
Our little trip was fun. We ate like fools (including a dessert parade around the table) and then we worked it off with a couple games of bowling. We should do that more...I'm not good, but I love bowling. We tried to hang with the big kids after at a little club, but it was way past our bedtime! I did really well while we were out, but first thing in the morning I couldn't get home fast enough - I missed my little man!
The Lake Placid area is pretty. The only other times I'd been there was for a New Kids concert in 1989 (remember that, Armond - hahahaha!) and a Richard Marx/Wilson Phillips concert with Niki. I'd really like to go and catch a bobslide ride sometime. Whoooooosh!
