...3,2,1 Lift Off!

Buckle up, it's a BOY!

Here's his little face...the little arrow is pointing to the left of his chin.
Everything looked good and on-target for 15 1/2 weeks.

I've got a thumb-sucker! That was so sweet to see. He moved around a lot...scratching his face, crossing & kicking and grabbing his legs. It's amazing how all that is going on and I can't feel it. I've had a few flutters when I'm laying in bed at night, but he is sure active!

Matt & I had fun. It was like meeting our baby for the first time. I could have watched this all day. It was so cool to see that first glimpse of a spine, and a head and what's that - a heartbeating? Amazing technology - you could see the 4 chambers of the heart, the kidney, the bones and tiny fingers & toes. To think, he's only 3 ounces and all these little parts are formed!

Matt was so cute, as soon as the first image popped up, he said, "Ah, I see it - it's a boy!" The nurse was like, "That could be an umbilical cord." She hadn't wanted to say for sure that it was a boy at first, but we have pictures that tell all.

I hate to say, "I told you so," but I just knew this was a little boy!
